DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician, your responsibility is to support the site management by following the preventive maintenance program for the property.
You should complete weekly work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
On a daily basis, you should walk the property and identify any issues that need correction before they become larger problems.
Additionally, you must ensure that all vacant units are ready for occupancy.
Your duties include troubleshooting and repairing systems issues like HVAC units, minor electrical problems, and plumbing.
When necessary, you may also assist Porters with maintaining the grounds.
Responsibilities:
Identify maintenance-related issues Conduct all work in a safe manner and in accordance with OSHA standardsRespond to work orders in a timely mannerWill be required to be on an on-call rotation to provide 24-hour coverageOther duties as assigned by supervisionEOE M/W/D/VRequirements3-5 years of property maintenance experience requiredValid Driver's LicenseKnowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems preferredDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsHVAC Certification preferred Must have his/her own tools and toolbox.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending and stooping in all directionsWalking and standing for extended periods of time (6 hours or more)Repetitive use of hands and fingers through the use of toolsFrequent climbing ladders and stairs Must be able to lift up to 50lbsEducation:
