Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer's primary function is to ensure engagement with customers on the promotion of Flowserve products, services, and solutions.
The SE will be responsible for achieving sales growth at customers in a designated territory.
The incumbent is also expected to contribute to the development of key guidelines to provide standardization of effort throughout all customers and to demonstrate the value proposition to our customers for the establishment of long term business relationships.
The incumbent will report directly to the District Manager.
Accountabilities Assure that Flowserve's products, capabilities, and services are promoted and articulated in the marketplaceProvide timely responses to both internal and external customersEnsure quality of engineering/service support at customer sitesFacilitate sales growth associated with parts, upgrades, and repairs at key customersOrganize and ensure regular communication with key customers in designated territoryCoordinate/institute preparation of quarterly updates on progress to yearly objectivesIdentify root cause associated with equipment which is not achieving customer desired reliabilityParticipate in and provide guidance for yearly and long term planning processAssist in preparing a comprehensive territory and account plan for designated territoryActively participate in training requirements to remain current on industry practices and technologies.
Position Requirements Position Requirements:
o Engineering bachelor's degree (preferred) or 5-10 years of relative industry experience.
o 3-5 years inside and outside sales experience with emphasis in pumps and/or mechanical seals.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage the assigned territory.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Self-Starter.
o Motivated.
o Strong interpersonal skills.
Percentage of Approximate Travel Required 10%.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
