Estimator - Pipeline Corrosion Control - Port Arthur, TX

Seeking experience estimating corrosion control project solutions for pipelines, strong foundation in estimation and cost analysis is a must, as is knowledge of Cathodic Protection.
Responsibilities:
Estimate labor, equipment, and tools needed to complete the job.
Develop project costs using MS Excel and other cost estimation tools including Viewpoint MEP or PlanSwift.
Initiate and recommend solutions to issues relating to the product, process and quality systems.
Work with project engineers to read RFP or RFQs from customers and review the contract for specific project needs.
Ensure bid estimates are realistic and relevant according to technical documents.
Qualifications:
A.S. in Engineering, Business or Finance related field.
2+ years related estimating experience on construction projects.
Knowledge of Cathodic Protection systems required.
Must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
