CONSTRUCTION CONTROL REPRESENTATIVE

A relocation/recruitment Incentive may be offered to Selectee of this position. Selectee must sign a three (3) year period of service (POS) agreement before assignment to the new position. Employee must agree to complete the 3 year period of service in the new position. Employee must physically relocate to the new duty station before the Relocation Incentive will be paid. GS-09:
Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience in assisting in the reviewing design drawings and specifications to ensure that they are consistent with sound engineering principles. Assist with onsite field inspections. OR A master's degree that directly relates to the work of the position. TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH RESUME. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07 GS-08). Specialized
Experience:
GS-11:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Inspecting large civil works construction sites to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications; AND 2) Reviewing construction plans and specifications for projects to determine practicability from a construction viewpoint and whether physical obstructions or other construction difficulties have been anticipated. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09 OR GS-10). APPLICANTS SELECTED AT THE GS-09 LEVEL WILL BE PROMOTED TO THE GS-10 LEVEL FOR ONE YEAR AND THEN TO THE GS-11 LEVEL You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
